Who we are
Headquartered in Brussels, the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA) represents European national composites associations and industry-specific sector groups at EU level. With the support of its members, EuCIA is actively contributing to building an economically and environmentally sustainable European composites industry. EuCIA closely monitors relevant standards and legislation, actively communicates the ways in which composites contribute to a more sustainable world, and promotes educational activities. Our initiatives aim to ensure the healthy growth and continued competitiveness of more than 10,000 companies and an estimated 150,000 employees involved in composites manufacturing across Europe. Vision
EuCIA is the unified voice of the European composites sector, representing the entire composites value chain, consisting of national and industry associations.
Mission
We support the sustainable growth of the composites industry and promote the development of a flourishing business environment, taking advantage of the combined expertise of EuCIA members.

Initiated by EuCIA, the leading carbon fiber players in Europe decided to jointly develop a position paper entitled:
“The Strategic Value of Carbon Fibre Composites in a Circular, Low-Emission Europe.”
The position paper was also co-signed by European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) and TECH-FAB Europe.
This marked an important milestone for the European carbon fiber industry, whose leaders chose to continue this collaborative journey under a formalized EuCIA alliance.
Carbon Fiber Europe was officially announced on November 18, 2025.
