Carbon Fiber Europe is participating in the RECREATE Conference: Made in the EU – Creating Markets for Circular Composites on 23rd April in Brussels.
The programme includes panels discussing EU policy and industry needs, pitching sessions, and a segment focused on knowledge transfer, sustainability and circularity assessment tools. It will present technologies and project results showcasing solutions that enable the circularity of composite materials and their value chains, from design to end-of-life.
Axel Leuchter, Vice-chair of Carbon Fiber Europe (a sectorial alliance of EuCIA) will join the panel Composites Market and EU Policy to discuss policy recommendations to advance circularity of composites. Other panelists include EuCIA’s Managing Director, Raphaël Pleynet; Luca Gentilini, Project / R&D Engineer, Haiki+ Cobat; Volker Mathes, Business Development Manager, AVK; and Jochem Cuppen, Founder, Compone.
The event is organised by the European project RECREATE, which is developing technologies aimed at exploiting the potential of end-of-life complex composite waste as a feedstock for profitable reuse of parts and materials in the manufacturing industry. It can also be joined online.
